Greetings!

The Isle of Hope Historical Association was founded in 1977 by a group of residents determined to protect the island’s special heritage. Our mission has three goals. We will collect and present the history of Isle of Hope on this website, in our newsletter “The 1736 Gazette”, and through regular communications with our members. We will sponsor events, like the annual Art and Music Festival, to bring our community together. Most importantly, we will spearhead an initiative to preserve Isle of Hope’s historic character by protecting our Bluff area from the real threat of unwanted development. We hope you will join us.
